Idiopathic Neuropathy….

Oooops… I said it was Poly Neuropathy… my mistake… Sometimes even I make assumptions…

Nope, what I have is idiopathic neuropathy and all that means… just like with clinical depression… they have no clue why I have the illness….

As with all the psych testing I underwent in trying to get answers… I have been to hell and back on medical testing… Just trying to get an answer to a question I asked in 1978, while in the Air Force…

Over 6 major operations later, more psych testing and again more medical testing…. The medical opinion is… They Don’t Know what caused any of it…

Now here is the kicker…  there’s a little science analogy I’ll use without getting technical…

Once all options have been explored and exhausted and only the obvious remains… kinda goes like that…

What does that goof ball statement mean… according to science… I don’t meet the criteria for any known illness that would cause the neuropathy so that narrows the options down to environment… exposure to Agent Orange on Okinawa in 71 & 72… then there comes chemical, well now that is tricky, because I received vaccinations that the civilian population will never get… so that’s a possible factor and the final one… blunt force trauma from domestic violence….

We can eliminate environment… I don’t meet the criteria for agent orange…

We can eliminate the vaccination… there is no known medical documentation to support the association between my neuropathy and the shots…

So that leaves us with the only final option… Blunt force trauma from domestic violence when I was assaulted from age 18 months to 18 years of age…

Will I ever have proof…. only an autopsy would allow them to exam the tissues and organs for old trauma…including the brain….

So where do I go from here… why no place… just looking out the window at the cardinals eating….

It just means I got my answer… I know why my body is the way it is and I learned to live with that a very long time ago… It’s just nice to know I don’t have life threatening illness… As long as I stay active, I should live however long life lets me live… quality is up to me… quantity is up to time…

So I apologize for stating incorrectly the neuropathy thing…

I Remember….

Author: maggi9454

My earliest memory is before the age of 2... by the time I was 13, I had no childhood memories... No holidays, no birthdays... On 11/5/17 a shooter in Texas changed all that... It triggered my memories from my 13th year... The Air Force covered it up an it happened in Big Springs, Texas 1967... Domestic violence, PTSD, TBI and I too served in the Air Force 10 years later... This is my story to remember what was stolen...
