Respecting Nature, our true god…edited….

We have lived in a couple cities in Washington, a little town in Arkansas, a big town in New Mexico and we moved to Hawaii…

One thing about all the places we lived… garbage and when a people protest the lack of respect for the land… this is what I think of that BS… because this trash has been sitting on this road for at least 3 years… the car has been here for over 4 months and yes we reported the trash… this is just one street in HPP housing area… just 1 street a half a mile in off Makuu… and this is what we see all over the island…. zero respect for the land….

I respect the Hawiians and their right to be heard… but the protest on the mountain has nothing to do with respecting the land and everything to do with the Hawiians being heard and recognized as a people and nation….

So far we have experienced Aloha once… when we first moved here and our 100 pound dog died suddenly and we didn’t have the $1500 to have him cremated, you can’t bury in rock… and our daughter who lived here before us got hold of her friends from Parker Ranch and they buried our Bear with the horses at the ranch… that has been the only Aloha we have experienced since moving here 3 years ago…

The bigotry towards white skinned and round eyes is so pervasive… you have to be defensive in the stores or they will literally run you over with a cart and not bat an eye and with our disabilities, moving out of the way of a person hell bent on hurting you is not easy… but we have learned to watch our backs at all times when out and about among the locals… think I am joking… not likely… now you get why we stay home, it is safer for us…

I put every dime I had into this home and property, thinking we were making Hawaii our forever home… we were here less than a year and were talking about moving off island and back to the mainland…the aloha was and is no more…

I have experience bigotry because of being white, round eyed and American all over this world… Americans are not liked nor wanted in many countries and Trump and his bigotry is making being an American a scary thing….

I have lived on Japan for 8 years, Okinawa for 2, Italy for 1 and stayed in Germany, Austria, South Korea, and the Phillippines… and I experinced bigotry in every place I went and lived or stayed….

To experience it on American soil… is no different than living in the deep south of America among the christian bigots there or among the mormons….

Bigotry is a choice that those people chose as their walk in life…

Me… I just keep watching my back, so everytime I leave my home… I can walk back into my home….

We have met many people on Hawaii that are friendly, accepting and just all around good people… both native and foreign….

Every property we have bought in the last 23 years, we have improved upon and help to make the land better, always respecting the only god and home we got…. Planet earth, and the only difference between me and the Hawiians is the label they insist upon…

My label… Human…. we are all created equal, until you put gods in the mix or superstitions…

fyi, we picked up trash when we bought our property and every day we pick up more trash that is thrown on our property… you can not just pick up trash where an when, if you do not own the land…Hawaii has some weird rules…. so all people, and I mean all living on Hawaii, see daily the disrespect and destroying of the land, just like Trump is doing…

72 % of those here support the telescope and the knowledge and money it will bring to the island… Rock and Leo, not welcomed in my home, biased and not truly informed of what the majority want….
