Real estate on Big Island…

I bought my first real estate in 88… Sold it under 30 days…

The longest I have ever had property on the market, right now over 90 days an no movement…

This is my 7th property I have bought and sold since 88…

News said we are moving properties, but when you price yourself out of the local market, you are gambling you will get someone who wants to move to the area….

Realtor has not responded to my removal from market, fortunately I am well aware of the contract we signed, and it all comes back to what I WANT, not anyone else, and what we want to do with OUR property….

We are out of reach of locals and we prefer to sell to local.. that means being in the price range they can afford…

When it costs you 65% more for food than any place else, housing is hard to afford…

We prefer to sell locally and since we have no place to move too, we can wait till next year to drop price an absorb loss more comfortably……

People are more interested in profit than humanity…. We know if we spread the word among those we deal with, word will get out we are going down in price or offering a substantial buyer assist….

I just have to be financially ready to absorb that loss, and I can do that next year… Why???

Cause we put several hundred on top of our monthly mortgage to knock over $6,000 off our principal yearly… like a savings account, but for us, negotiation room that does not hurt financially… and allows us to sell our “Home”, to someone who wants a “Home”, an not just a house…
